OUR PATHWAY TO INNOVATION

DCL upon obtaining its Internet Service Licence (ISP) was the first private company to offer Internet Services to the Mauritian Community in December 2001. DCL delivers quality voice traffic to more than 150 countries worldwide through its own network of international gateways.

DCL is known for the different innovations it has brought to the ICT industry in Mauritius such as the first WIFI Hotspot, the first E-Commerce secured site, Myeldo.com, first SMS call back system, first prepaid international card and more.

Its commitment towards its customers, business goals, ongoing development and quality improvement, combined with the use of latest technologies and strong partnerships has led DCL to become a quality provider of ICT services and at the same time has established itself as a strong player in the telecommunications market.

The Executive Chairman of DCL, Mr. Ganesh Ramalingum, joined the company in January 1998. His foresight and vision for positioning the company's long-term success, have been central to the achievements of DCL.

He has been one of the major players to attend to the development of ICT in Mauritius and has also been involved in the liberalisation of the Telecommunication Industry in Mauritius both before and after it took effect in the Year 2003.

Under his leadership and with more than 35 years of experience in the field of Information and Communication Technology, DCL's team rapidly transformed itself into one of the leaders delivering extraordinary value and breakthrough results in the sales of hardware and software, telephony, networking, consultancy and systems integration, software development and training.
